Old World Factions
Soul Knights
These guys are a holy order of knights and adventurers that are primarily devoted to the light god Aether. With the disappearance of the most powerful god Aether, they have taken it upon themselves to protect the lands in his absence. While the group is mostly paladins and clerics devoted to Aether, anyone with the devotion to protect the world is welcome to join regardless of class or religious beliefs. The Soul Knights are led by the Archbishop Alexandrite. Their main base of operation is called the Soul Chamber, and it is in neutral lands located in a desert on Candeloria.
Gear Lords
This guild is comprised of inventors and craftsmen. A long time ago the world's greatest inventors decided to join together and pool their resources in order to achieve new technology. Eventually they opened it to the public as a place for inventors to get started. Members often search for ancient research or magic items to help them in their quest for inventions. Their base is located in the city New Spindlehollow in the Krafos Dominion. They are led by Thorin Beargrub, a genius gnome. They have made inventions such as flying airships, firearms, clockwork machinery, and a variety of new spells.
Deerwood Academy
This school for magic resides in the city of Alora in Candeloria. They train students from all over the world in this huge school. Anyone that can use magic, or wants to use magic, is welcome. They have a lot of scholars working at the Deerwood Academy devoted to the study of magic and magic items. Almost all of their students are sorcerers trying to learn to control their innate abilities, or wizards trying to learn magic, but anyone is welcome to study magic.
The Dawn
They have no official leader or official council or home, but instead have collections of individual groups across the globe. Each little group of the Dawn is a little different, but they are devoted to nature, the natural life cycle, reincarnation, and freedom.
Onyx Ravens
They are a group of cutthroat individuals whose only priority is to make money. Originally started in the 3rd era when the government was distracted with the dark age, they still exist to this very day. They started in Ezrun, but have since expanded to all the continents. They are said to have a vault deep underground holding a variety of insanely powerful magic items, but only the elites of the Onyx Ravens are allowed to enter. Their group is in a constant civil war in Ezrun with the government and other gangs.
Phantom Raiders
This group is a gang that mostly roams the sea in the shattered isles. They look for buried treasure, pillage seaside towns, and attack other ships on the open seas. They are a collection of different pirate crews all working under a pirate council.
Blood Hunters
This is a supernatural organization that is devoted to hunting monsters. The members became their enemy to fight them. The different orders mutate their bodies in different ways. The blood hunters are not evil, but people look upon them with disgust as they have become the very thing they swore to destroy.
