Eldritch Invocations

Agonizing Blast

Choose one of the cantrips you gained from the warlock class that deals damage. You can add your spellcasting ability modifier to that cantrip's damage rolls. Whenever you gain a warlock level, you may change which of your damaging warlock cantrips that benefit from this feature.

Armor of Shadows

You can cast the mage armor spell on yourself without expending a spell slot.

Ascendant Step

Prerequisite: 5 Levels in Warlock

You can cast the Levitate spell on yourself once without expending a spell slot. You must finish a short rest before you can do so again.

Aspect of the Moon

The time you need to spend sleeping is halved. For most creatures, this is 8 hours. You also cannot be forced to sleep my magical means.

Beast Speech

You can cast the Speak With Animals spell at will, without expending a spell slot.

Cloak of Flies

Prerequisites: 5 Levels in Warlock

As a bonus action, you can surround yourself with a magical aura that looks like buzzing flies. The aura extends 5 feet from you in every direction, but not through total cover. It lasts until you're incapacitated or you dismiss it as a bonus action.

Any other creature that starts its turn in the aura takes poison damage equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 0 damage).

Once you use this invocation, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Devil's Sight

You can see normally in dim light and darkness, both magical and nonmagical, within 60 feet.

Eldritch Mind

You have advantage on constitution saving throws you make to maintain concentration on a spell.

Eldritch Smite

Prerequisite: 5 Levels in Warlock, Pact of the Blade

Once per turn when you hit a creature with your pact weapon, you can expend a Warlock spell slot to deal an extra 1d8 force damage to the target, plus an additional 1d8 per level of the spell slot. You may also knock the target prone if it is huge or smaller.

Eldritch Spear

Choose one of the cantrips you gained from the warlock class that deals damage and has a range of at least 10 feet. When you cast this cantrip, its range increases by a number of feet equal to 10 times your warlock level. Whenever you gain a warlock level, you may change which of your damaging warlock cantrips that benefit from this feature.

Fiendish Vigor

You can cast the False Life spell on yourself without expending a spell slot. When you cast the spell with this feature, you do so at a level equal to your warlock spell slot level. When you cast this spell outside of combat, you do not need to roll for the hit points, you gain the maximum amount.

Gaze of Two Minds

Prerequisite: 5 Levels in Warlock

You can use a bonus action to touch a willing creature and perceive through its senses until the end of your next turn. As long as the creature is on the same plane of existence as you, you can use a bonus action on subsequent turns to maintain this connection, extending the duration to the end of your next turn.

While perceiving through the other creature's senses, you benefit from any special senses possessed by that creature, and you can cast spells as if you were in your space or the other creature's space if the two of you are within 60 feet of each other.

Gift of the Depths

Prerequisites: 5 Levels in Warlock

You can breathe underwater, and you gain a swim speed equal to your speed. You may also cast the Water Breathing spell once without expending a spell slot. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

Gift of the Protectors

Prerequisites: 9 Levels in Warlock, Pact of the Tome

A new page appears in your book of shadows when you conjure it. With your permission, a creature can use its action to write its name on that page, which can contain a number of names equal to your proficiency bonus. When any creature whose name is on the page is reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, the creature magically drops to 1 hit point instead. When this is triggered, roll 1d4. On a roll of 1 or 2, the creatures name is erased from the book and cannot be written in it again until you finish a long rest. You may also use an action to erase a name from the book.

Grasp of Hadar

Choose one of the cantrips you gained from the warlock class that deals damage. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature that is large or smaller with that cantrip, you can pull it in a straight line 10 feet closer to you. Whenever you gain a warlock level, you may change which of your damaging warlock cantrips that benefit from this feature.

Improved Pact Weapon

Prerequisites: Pact of the Blade feature

In addition, the weapon gains a +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls, unless it is a magic weapon that already has a bonus to those rolls.

Finally, the weapon you conjure can be a shortbow, longbow, light crossbow, or heavy crossbow.

Investment of the Chain Master

Prerequisites: 5 Levels in Warlock, Pact of the Chain

When you cast find familiar, you infuse the summoned familiar with a measure of your eldritch power, granting the creature the following benefits:

Aerial or Aquatic. The familiar gains either a fly speed or a swim speed (your choice) of 40 feet.

Quick Attack. As a bonus action, you can command the familiar to take the attack action.

Necrotic or Radiant. Whenever the familiar deals bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, you can make it deal necrotic or radiant damage instead.

Your Save DC. Whenever the familiar forces a creature to make a saving throw, it uses your spell save DC.

Resistance. When the familiar takes damage, you can use your reaction to grant it resistance to that damage.

Lance of Lethargy

Choose one of the cantrips you gained from the warlock class that deals damage. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature that is large or smaller with that cantrip, you can reduce their speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. Whenever you gain a warlock level, you may change which of your damaging warlock cantrips that benefit from this feature.

Lifedrinker

Prerequisites: 9 Levels in Warlock, Pact of the Blade.

Whenever you hit a creature with your pact weapon, you can expend one of your hit dice to roll it and regain a number of hit points equal to that roll + your constitution modifier. Additionally, whenever you score a critical hit with your pact weapon, you regain a hit die if you were missing any.

Maddening Hex

Prerequisite: 5 Levels in Warlock, hex spell or a warlock feature that curses

As a bonus action, you cause a psychic disturbance around the target cursed by your hex spell or by a warlock feature of yours, such as Hexblade's Curse. When you do so, you deal psychic damage to other creatures within 5 feet of the cursed target. The psychic damage equals your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1 damage). To use this invocation, you must be able to see the cursed target, and it must be within 30 feet of you.

Mask of Many Faces

You can temporarily alter your appearance. You can cast the Disguise Self spell without expending a spell slot. When you cast it this way, the spell only lasts 10 minutes, and you may only cast this spell with this feature once before you must finish a long rest.

Misty Visions

You can cast the Silent Image spell without expending a spell slot.

One With Shadows

Prerequisites: 5 Levels in Warlock

While in an area of dim light or darkness, you can cast the invisibility spell on yourself without expending a spell slot. If you leave the dim light or darkness, the invisibility immediately ends.

Otherworldly Leap

Prerequisites: 2 Levels in Warlock

You can cast the Jump spell on yourself without expending a spell slot.

Relentless Hex

Prerequisite: 7 Levels in Warlock, hex spell or a warlock feature that curses

Your curse creates a temporary bond between you and your target. As a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see within 5 feet of the target cursed by your hex spell or by a warlock feature of yours, such as Hexblade's Curse. To teleport in this way, you must be able to see the cursed target.

Repelling Blast

Choose one of the cantrips you gained from the warlock class that deals damage. Once per turn, when you hit a large or smaller creature with this cantrip, you can push that creature up to 10 feet straight away from you. Whenever you gain a warlock level, you may change which of your damaging warlock cantrips that benefit from this feature.

Thirsting Blade

Prerequisite: 5 Levels in Warlock, Pact of the Blade

You gain the extra attack feature with your pact weapon only. This does not stack with other features that give you extra attack. 

Tomb of Levistus

Prerequisites: 5 Levels in Warlock

As a reaction when you take damage, you can entomb yourself in ice, which melts away at the start of your next turn. You gain 10 temporary hit points per warlock level, which take as much of the triggering damage as possible. Immediately after you take the damage, you gain vulnerability to fire damage, your speed is reduced to 0, and you are incapacitated. These effects all end when the ice melts. You keep any remaining temporary hit points when the ice melts, as ice still clings to your body, but it disappears at the end of the turn that the ice melts away.

Once you use this invocation, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest. You can use a spell slot to use this feature when you have no uses remaining.

Whispers of the Grave

Prerequisites: 7 Levels in Warlock

You can cast the Speak With Dead spell without expending a spell slot.

Witch Sight

Prerequisites: 15 Levels in Warlock

You have truesight with a range of 20 feet.
