Rosindale

Rosindale is a stunning city in the heart of the Roselands, ruled by one of the most powerful houses in Valtoria, House Cantell. In the center of the city lies Cantell Castle, a majestic white marble castle of impressive architectural design. It is surrounded by a moat filled with water lilies. The castle is magnificent, with many soaring towers, grand halls, and intricate stonework. The castle serves as the center of the country too, and hosts many important political meetings inside its walls. Surrounding the castle is an everchanging hedge maze, where tournaments are occasionally held to see who can get through it the fastest.

The city is home to many stunning landmarks and monuments, such as the Roseshire, a famous flower garden, which is known throughout the country for its beauty and fragrance. The garden is filled with every type of rose imaginable, from deep reds to delicate pinks, and is tended to by a team of skilled gardeners. The Roseshire is a popular area for weddings, proposals, and dates. Most people see it as the most romantic place in the world, and believe that if you see a rainbow in the sky while in the Roseshire, you are sure to meet your true love soon.

Rosindale also has the Grand Concert Hall, a place where the brightest musical minds come to perform their music. The Grand Concert Hall has been the coveted stage to perform on for all musicians, but rarely do people see their dreams of playing their come true. The concert hall is a place frequently visited to by rich people and nobles, it is a popular way to spend an evening.

Rosindale also has a bustling market, where farmers from all over the Roselands come to sell their products. Because of this robust agricultural market, there are many famous bakeries and restaurants in Rosindale. The market is filled with the smell of pastries and other desserts, being a favorite area for children.

Rosindale is also home to the Rosindale Cathedral, a magnificent structure, built by the best artists in the world, boasting masterpieces of art. It has stained glass windows, painted ceilings, and statues all depicting religious iconography to the Three Faced God. The cathedral is a popular destination for religious people to make pilgrimage to.

The people of Rosindale are known for their love of life and beauty. The citizens are known for their love of fashion and expression, and the city is home to many talented seamstresses and designers, nobles come from all over Valtoria to purchase their clothing. Many trends start in Rosindale.

The people of the Roselands celebrate the summer solstice by holding the festival of flowers, where a special magical paint is made from the flowers in the Roseshire. The citizens celebrate by splattering paint on each other, the buildings, and the streets. The colorful paint contrasts with the usual white of the marble buildings. The next day after the festival, the paint all disappears thanks to the magical properties of it.

House Cantell was planning on opening a more accessible academy for the average citizen with the help of Harry Haddock, but the project fell through when Harry died. The new academy would open up opportunities for citizens who were not rich or of noble birth to access higher learning, something that is not really obtainable for them since the only alternative is Masterpool Academy.
